Each year, the CMOA holds the Annual Memorial Trail Trials & Sensory Training. This event is designed to test the rider and horse, and offer a fun and competitive environment. The Memorial Trail Trials & Sensory Training is dedicated to those CMOA members who have passed away. It is our way of remembering our fallen mounted personnel. The event is hosted by a member department and moves to a different city each year. The CMOA Board of Directors strives to rotate the event north & south in the state each year.
2018 Trail Trials will be held June 23 in Northern California at the Running I Ranch in Dunnigan and is co hosted by the Friends of the Mounted Unit.
Members and non members (general public) alike are invited to compete. The event is focused on fun and training, but there are great prizes on the line as well!
Stalls are included for members and are $20/night for non members.
Event T Shirts are available for $10 and need to be ordered at the time of registration.
Registration includes your lunch and dinner on Saturday. Saturday night includes a BBQ, Award Ceremony, and raffle.
CHP will host an event on Friday night. Details have not been released but check back soon!
